Why is a Member receiving irrelevant resources/too many resources/too few resources?

Irrelevant resources

Check that the Member has appropriate categories in the Staff Groups box. If this is left empty or too broad, resources that match the conditions/professional interests of the member but are aimed at other staff groups will be included. You can also check that the most specific matching categories have been chosen, rather than a broader parent term. Selecting a parent term automatically selects all child terms.


Too many resources

The selected categories may be too broad. It's recommended to increase the frequency of updates to Weekly or Daily if the member has very broad interests. This will prevent them receiving overly long emails.


Too few resources

The selected categories may be too specific, and/or there may not be very many resources added to KnowledgeShare in the selected area. It's recommended to reduce the frequency of updates to Monthly if the member has very specific interests.
